2016-17 Radcliffe Fellowship at Harvard

5/30/2016

In September of this year, I will be moving to Cambridge, Massachusetts, to spend the year at Harvard for a 2016-2017 Radcliffe Fellowship. This residency is part of a multidisciplinary program providing generous support for scholars, scientists, journalists and artists to work on independent projects with the full resources of Harvard and the Radcliffe community.

My project will involve the creation and development of a new play about three witches and how their lives have unfolded over the course of hundreds of years. The project explores the archetype of witches as it has been seen in Western history, folklore and the arts, and religion, specifically focusing on the context of witches and other distinctly female forces of evil within society's relationship to women and gender.

It might be a comedy.
