2/12/2013

Halfway will be produced in the 37th Humana Festival at the Actor's Theatre of Louisville this season, where it has also won this year's Heideman Prize. Halfway was originally produced in Lesser America's 2011 evening of 10-minute plays Too Much Too Soon at Theater for the New City in New York.

When her sister visits her at a halfway house in East Texas, Kat is desperate to impress and win Melissa’s forgiveness and love. Eager to reclaim her place in the family, Kat soon discovers that redemption might be more difficult and complicated than she thought.

Halfway and 10-minute plays by Sarah Ruhl and Jonathan Josephson will be presented during the final weekend of the Humana Festival of New American Plays.
